Internships
Being an intern with World Volunteer is an excellent way to gain experience with student travel, community development projects, and seeing how a social enterprise operates. Internships are based out of Kuala Lumpur but travel and helping with trips is part of the role. Time spent at our office in KL will be helping with a host of tasks that vary week by week but you’ll be helping to support members of the team, on going projects, and assisting with the operations of running international travel programs.
Internships are only offered for:
September - December
January - May
September - May
Custom dates possible but we require at least four months commitment
Essential Qualifications/Experience
Fluent in English
Able to travel and help lead trips in the countries we work
Hard working and willing to go outside your comfort zone
Self starter & being flexible
Proficient with basic computer programs (Word, power-point, excel)
Desired Qualifications/Experience
Passion for travel and education
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent leadership skills
Good team player but can also work independently
Good problem solver
A "can do" attitude
Ability to live and work in basic living conditions

Flights to KL not included (any work related travel is covered however)
