We recognize that inherent risks exist in any experiential learning endeavor, and therefore, we have established a comprehensive and proactive approach to risk management. With more than 15 years of experience in organizing school trips, we take great pride in our safety record.
Our risk management framework for student and service learning programs is designed to:
We will systematically identify and assess potential hazards and risks associated with each program, considering factors such as the location, activities, transportation, accommodation, cultural context, and the specific needs of our participants.
Once identified, we will implement appropriate strategies and procedures to minimize the likelihood and potential impact of these risks. This includes thorough planning, clear communication, comprehensive training, appropriate supervision, and the establishment of emergency protocols.
We will provide students, faculty leaders, and partners with clear and transparent information about potential risks and the measures in place to mitigate them, enabling informed participation and decision-making throughout the trip.
We will ensure that programs are adequately resourced with trained personnel, emergency contacts, communication systems, and access to necessary support services.
Our programs follow strong ethical guidelines and adhere to all relevant institutional policies and legal requirements in the countries where we operate.
Our risk management processes will be regularly reviewed and updated based on experience, feedback, and evolving best practices to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
