Addressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals

SDG #12. Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns: Students have the opportunity to learn about marine conservation from leaders in this community and observe sustainable principles in practice.
SDG #13. Climate action: This project works with current environmental organizations to improve education and awareness-raising on impact reduction. It also promotes education for effective climate change-related planning and strategies.
SDG #14. Life below Water: By constructing an artificial reef, this project aims to sustainability manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems to avoid significant adverse impacts, by taking action for their restoration in order to achieve healthy and productive oceans.
